Shira Kney-Tal Allouche

Shira serves as a senior prosecutor and department manager at the Jerusalem District Attorney Office’s Criminal Division. Shira acts as part of the Jerusalem DA office managerial team, focused on forming and developing enforcement policies aimed at enhancing public safety and reducing crime rates, while ensuring principles of justice, human rights, and due process. She joined the DA office in 2004 and was promoted to manager in 2014. Shira served as manager of the pre-trial detention department, a challenging and central department in the DA office, where she was responsible for a team of attorneys handling severe criminal cases. All significant decisions regarding the cases handled by prosecutors under her supervision require her authorization. In addition, Shira litigates major trials that deal with terrorism, murder, rape, corruption, fraud, and economic offenses. Shira graduated from Hebrew University with a BLM and LLM, cum laude.
