Philip’s experiences growing up in Ghana shaped his desire to improve healthcare delivery for the underserved. He served as a medic in the United States Navy Reserve, which equipped him to initiate novel maternal healthcare delivery programs for Myanmar refugees in Thailand. Moreover, as a healthcare consultant, he has guided the U.S. Department of Defense in rolling out new technology platforms to improve healthcare access for U.S. service members. Philip graduated from the University of Ghana and Columbia University with a BA in business administration and an MA in public health, respectively.
