Natasha is between her third and fourth years of medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Her interest in public service is rooted in health policy and patient advocacy work, especially toward creating a healthcare system that is equitable for all patients. She serves as a regional delegate on behalf of the Medical Student Section to the American Medical Association House of Delegates and was recently named the Nebraska Medical Association’s Student Advocate of the Year. Natasha also founded Musicians for Healing, a volunteer organization that brings live instrumental music to patient bedsides. She graduated summa cum laude from Morningside College with a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry, a Bachelor of Science in biology, and a Bachelor of Arts in music.
