Lucas is originally from Curitiba, Brazil, and moved to Lowell, Massachusetts, when he was nine. He has served as Congressman Seth Moulton’s transportation and infrastructure director, overseeing both federal policy and large-scale infrastructure projects. Before that, he worked on several high-profile political campaigns across Massachusetts. He is passionate about working at the intersection of business, government, and impact, fostering economic development in struggling cities through public-private partnerships. Last year, Lucas co-founded a startup focused on delivering medicine and good to underserved communities across Massachusetts during the COVID-19 pandemic. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, and all things Boston sports.
