Justin Witwicki

Justin is a lieutenant commander in the United States Navy, recently serving as director of training and readiness at Airborne Command and Control Squadron 117. He has also taught courses at the Airborne Command and Control Weapons School. Justin spent nearly four years stationed in Japan as an airborne mission commander in Carrier Air Wing Five. In 2013, he received the Armed Forces Humanitarian Service Medal for coordinating lifesaving operations in the Philippines during Operation Damayan. Justin is a U.S. Navy Fleet Scholars Fellow and a member of the Truman National Security Project, and was named a 2021 Out Leader by Out in National Security. Justin graduated summa cum laude from Saint Joseph’s University and Johns Hopkins University, with a BA in political science and an MA in government, respectively.
