Master in Public Policy Candidate & Master in Business Administration Candidate, 2024
Daniel is a former college and professional basketball player whose struggles with asthma have made him acutely aware of poor air quality and the harm it inflicts. Those same struggles have made Daniel appreciate clean technology and the potential health and environmental benefits it offers. Since his basketball career ended, he has worked on Capitol Hill and at Tesla to advance the development of clean technology. At Tesla, he ran operations for the small group that trades regulatory credits, and then became the finance lead for the used car business. He is also a board member at Prison to Employment, a nonprofit offering employment readiness training to people incarcerated at San Quentin State Prison. Daniel graduated from Williams College with a Bachelor of Arts in economics and history.
