Christina Amutah

Christina is a third-year medical student at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. During her time in medical school, Christina has worked to change the way her medical school discusses race and racism in the curriculum. She also created the Forum on Race, Advocacy, and Medical Education, which was a first-of-its-kind virtual conference to promote a national discourse on the use of race in medical education. Prior to medical school, Christina was a Princeton in Africa fellow and worked with youth living with HIV in Botswana. She graduated with Honors from Howard University with a degree in political science.
