Cherie was a Venture for America Fellow and the first business hire at Propel, a social impact tech startup that builds tools for low-income Americans. While at Propel, Cherie managed the implementation of Project 100, the largest private sector cash transfer program to date. She graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, where she studied international economics and founded an organization that mobilized students to help District of Columbia families with free tax preparation. Outside of her work, she is passionate about community engagement and has served in a leadership capacity with the World Economic Forum Global Shapers and as a mentor for college students seeking social impact careers.
