CPL co-director David Gergen returned to his home state of North Carolina to deliver Elon University's 2016 Commencement address. Calling on students to "get in the arena, join the fight, serve and lead," Gergen expressed concerns about the future of the state and the "forces of political extremism" that are jeopardizing the liberties of its citizens.
