Cambridge, MA: The Center for Public Leadership (CPL) at Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) is pleased to announce the appointment of five Hauser Leaders for the fall, 2020 semester.

Standing at the heart of CPL’s community of scholarship and learning, Hauser Leaders contribute in vital ways to the academic life of Harvard through contributions to faculty-led research and classroom lectures. They also bring tangible learning to students through public events, workshops, and coaching meetings.

“Historic events of 2020 have reinforced the Center for Public Leadership’s commitment to listen, learn and act in the name of equity and justice for all,” said Amb. Wendy R. Sherman, CPL director and HKS professor of the practice of public leadership. “In that spirit,” Sherman said, “CPL is proud to host Hauser Leaders who bring a diverse wealth of experience fighting for human rights, voter enfranchisement, advancement of science and technology, and access to quality education.”

Forthcoming Hauser Leader events will focus on civic engagement, racial and gender equity, public service, and solutions to ongoing repercussions of the Covid-19 crisis.

Please check the CPL events calendar for information on public events and programming with our Hauser Leaders.
