The moments of September 25, 2011 will never be forgotten by Kevin Flike — staff sergeant in the Green Berets — and his teammates. This is the day they were ambushed and attacked by the Taliban. After being pinned down for 11 hours, Flike – who had been shot in the stomach – was carried to safety by his teammates. The harrowing and heroic events were captured on film.

Wounded by War is a story of resilience and recovery, life-altering medical procedures, and a veteran’s battle with PTSD, addiction, and a will to live.
