Please join the HLS Armed Forces Association and the Center for Public Leadership for a discussion with Lieutenant General (ret) Nadja West, the 44th Surgeon General of the United States Army. General West is the first African American Army Surgeon General and the first African American female three-star Army General. She has over twenty years of experience in executive leadership and disaster management, and played an integral role in forming the DoD response to the Ebola crisis. Drawing on her expertise as a physician and former Army officer, General West will discuss leadership tactics and civilian-military partnership in the uncertain times of COVID-19.

Discussion will be moderated by Brandon Ricaurte JD 2022, CPL Black Family Fellow and Vice President, HLS Armed Forces Association.
