Join us for a Behavioral Insights Student Group Lunch with Matt Cybulsky. Matt Cybulsky (PhD) is a practicing behavioral economist focusing much of his work in the healthcare space. Primarily, Matt’s chief aim is optimizing care delivery for patients, providers, and staff with behaviorally informed approaches influencing compliance, readmissions, satisfaction, patient portal enrollment, and promoting tools for social engagement. In the Boston area, he’s actively involved in collaborative efforts with Signature Healthcare as well as Beth Israel Deaconess. He’s also a collaborator with remote medical technologies and is actively involved in voice technologies optimizing patient-self care utilizing Alexa tools. 

Matt’s talk will focus on practical applications and organizational learning achieved from behaviorally focused initiatives in healthcare delivery and population health management with chronic conditions, employee and population wellness, quality & safety, patient satisfaction, remote technologies, amongst many practical examples. From the Bay Area, to the Southeast, to the East Coast, his work with IONIA offers multiple opportunities for student involvement, data review, and guidance. After the talk, Matt will be available for students interested in applying their work and learning amongst populations in the healthcare space, both patient and provider.
